Boken överraskar inte riktigt så som jag hade önskat. Jag hade gärna velat få ut något nytt av boken så här ca tio år sedan sist och nästan 30 år sedan första läsningen. Jag är dock väldigt övertygad om att boken definitivt hade givit mig något nytt - och garanterat varit mer skräckinjagande - i fall jag hade haft småbarn, i och med att boken skildrar något fruktansvärt.
